Thomas Porter and his wife Manda moved to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in 1999. Since then, the couple has grown to love the boreal forest and its vast biodiversity. The opportunities for tourism are boundless, and Thomas Porter Photographics strives to highlight them for all to see.
Northern Saskatchewan holds some of the last untamed wilderness in Canada. Here visitors can become one with nature, revelling in its majesty and moving within its subtle rhythms. Elk, moose and bears greet visitors with a rare glimpse into the daily life of the north. Saskatchewan's countless lakes and waterways beckon the traveller to come and explore. The people of this area all seem to feel the same way about the land they call home; they are passionate about it and want to share their experiences.
Images created by Thomas Porter Photographics have been used by Tourism Prince Albert, The City of Prince Albert, The Northern Tourism Association and Prairies North Magazine.
